Photography...

I've always wanted to explore photography past basic documentation of my artwork, and this week I finally got a decent DSLR camera to do just that. I suppose you'll be seeing more "photos for the sake of photos" on this blog soon.
Above is a photo that I took long ago during my first visit to Las Vegas. When I travel to new cities, I usually visit all the landmarks that tourists typically attend to, but I also usually explore the ghetto, or run-down areas also. Because thats where I find the shit that has character, style, or attitude. And thats where I came across this dog, chilling behind the fence, with the shitty spray painted flames in the background. I took this photo with a piece of crap camera, but its still my favorite photo I've taken to date. I think what makes it is that the dog is acting like he doesn't see me. Chilling.

Some New Tatty Work...

"Kill'em all, let God sort'em out" This one went on grunt.
"Balloon Head" design was adapted from an album cover that the customer was fond of.
More micro praying hands, this time on a girls wrist.
"Believe" foot tatty. Yup.
"Live Life" were this kids first tattoos....Hard Core.

Ryan Sheckler's House Graffiti...Redux...

I just found this photo on the web of pro skater Sheckler in front of some of the graffiti murals I painted in his house. I did that job about two years ago, and it's still one of the more memorable projects I've ever done. That was a wild time with a few fucking crazy events that I will NEVER forget! The entire trip was far from routine, even before I began the artwork. I caught a flat on the way to CA from AZ somewhere near Yuma with no spare tire, not much money, and no cell phone reception. I've never been so shit outta luck in such a desolate place as the middle of the desert. Luckily I found a guy who knew a mechanic that would get me a new tire and put it on for me. I showed up in San Clemente four hours late, covered in sand, sweat, and grease, just in time to meet Sheckler's mother and a friend for dinner at a pretty nice restaurant! Honestly, I could write a decent sized book about all the shit that went down during that trip. It was a good time, mainly because it was full of risk, adventure, new places, and new experiences. ....and lots of graffiti!

Where the Wild Things Are...

I recently spray painted this mural for one of my closest friends. His wife wanted a "Where the Wild Things Are" character painted in their kids room. Hope it doesn't scare the shit out of the kid!

Tattoo Machines Sign...

I painted this sign for my friend Kevin in trade for a set of custom made tattoo machines he made for me. It has silver and varigated leaf on it as well as some airbrushing and other tricks. He liked the sign, and I Love my new machines. I will post some pics of them.

Stickers Stickers Stickers...

I just received a new order of stickers from the printer...I Love stickers. The first two designs are new, as well as the two I created for my tattoo shop. The last design is an old one but I still have plenty left. I'm all ready working on some new designs so expect to see those out soon also.

...if anyone wants some let me know!
